Who We Are
The Philippine Alliance for Sustainable Solutions Foundation Inc. (PASSFI) is committed to advancing sustainable development through a multifaceted approach. Its primary focus lies in four key areas: environmental sustainability, business solutions, economic development, and private-public partnerships.
PASSFI recognizes the interconnectedness and interdependence of these areas, asserting that progress in one domain cannot be achieved without corresponding advancements in others.
A cornerstone of PASSFI’s initiatives is the establishment of a platform that facilitates collaboration among businesses, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and government agencies. This platform serves as a hub for showcasing sustainable initiatives and facilitating the exchange of ideas on addressing critical environmental and social challenges facing the country.
Furthermore, PASSFI collaborates with diverse stakeholders to develop and implement sustainable development programs and policies. Its primary objectives include partnering with government agencies, NGOs, academic institutions, and businesses to promote sustainable practices and advocate for policies that prioritize sustainable development.
A notable program within PASSFI’s agenda is the Sustainable Cities and Communities program, which endeavors to foster sustainable urbanization and enhance the overall quality of life for urban residents. This program concentrates on sustainable transportation, waste management, and the development of green infrastructure.
In addition to its programs and initiatives, PASSFI engages in research and advocacy efforts on sustainable development issues. The organization publishes research papers, policy briefs, and other relevant materials that provide valuable insights and recommendations for promoting sustainable development within the Philippines.
Through its expanding network, PASSFI strives to promote sustainable development in the Philippines. Its collaborative and multi-stakeholder approach has effectively raised awareness and catalyzed progress on various environmental and social concerns.
